Worked a little on a sketch of a possible invitation for our wedding...

Old School

I am marrying an obsessive baseball card collector. So, to even out the girly-ness that is a wedding, I thought of manly-ing out the invitations a bit. Save-the-date cards = game day posters, Invitations = tickets. All done in a very vintage-y baseball feel. And, what about little buttons/pins to go with the save-the-date cards? How cool?

Purple, lime green, silver. YES!

So, finally decided on my colors: Purple, lime green, and silver. I've been obsessing over what I want my bridesmaid's dresses to look like, and what color they would be pretty much since I got engaged. Is that weird? Probably. Anyway, I really want the dresses.... NOT to be identical. And, the shoes? I really want something that stands out. No pastel-y-ish colors here.

Hello internet! I think we have met before, but just in case you forgot let me introduce myself again. I'm Kayla, and I started this (and many other blogs that I never keep up with) blog to update everyone, and myself on the current project I have: my wedding. The wedding itself is not for a year and halfish (03.05.11) so I'll have plenty of time to plan... (procrastinate).



So, who is K loves Z? Well, I'm the K. And the Z is my amazing fiance, Zach. We are super excited about getting married, and I'm pretty sure Zach is super excited to plan the wedding (well, I can hope he is, right?).

As for this blog, hopefully I can keep up with it and the several other things I have going on in my life right now. I'll be posting wedding goodness for all to look at soon! Get excited!
